Grant Milnor Hyde (1889-1972) worked on the New Haven Journal Courier and New York Mail. He was later associate professor of journalism and editor of the University of Wisconsin Press. His books include Newspaper Reporting and Correspondence (1912), Newspaper Editing (1915), and Handbook for Newspaper Workers (1921).
