About the Author
Susan Hodges has worked in Information Technology for over 25 years and has an extensive background in both technology and training. She started in the technical field while in the U.S. Navy, moved to AT&T after her Navy service and continued her technical career. She left AT&T to work for a training firm where she was responsible for providing skills training for programmers, analysts, and other computer professionals.
In 1989, MS. Hodges established SemCo Enterprises, Inc. which specializes in providing training and reference materials for non-technical people who work with computer professionals. She developed the seminar Computers: Systems, Terms and Acronyms and wrote the text to accompany the presentation. A second technical seminar, Techial Update and a third seminar which addresses recruiting specifics, Technical Recruiting, were added to the schedule in 1998. The second book, Technical Recruiting is for recruiters who fill jobs for computer professionals. It's the only book available that addresses the problems unique to filling technical jobs and communicating with technical professionals.
