The path to the A+ certification begins here! I had the Mike Meyers book for 801/802 & 901/902 and the newest edition that covers the 1001/1002 exams of course has much up to date for 2019. Material on SSDs, M2, and NVME drives are a plus. It's also nice to see that the book has more coverage on Windows 10, which is the primary OS going forward. A lot of the chapters are the same from the previous editions but that's to be expected. Mobile devices and networking seem to be more involved for the 10 series exams as well. Overall I am sure this book will help me get refreshed and finally get A+ Certified within the next year, I have waited for the 1001/1002 exams to release. I would get this book if you're barely getting into the IT field or if you need a refresher. This book goes into much more detail and is thicker than the exam cram but it's good material to know! This book is a great, in depth reference for computers.
