From New York Times bestselling author Alexa Riley, a friends-to-lovers romance that will bring you the happily-ever-after you’ve been waiting for

Jordan Chen is the man behind the screen. As part of the elite security team for Osbourne Corporation, he has an iron grip on protection, all without having to make close connections with people. Until he meets the beautiful Jay, and suddenly his quiet life doesn’t seem so perfect anymore. He needs more. He needs her.

A workaholic to her core, Jay Rose doesn’t have a lot of men in her life. Smiling in the face of her enemies gets her the results she wants at work, but doesn’t exactly project a warm, welcoming vibe. So she’s surprised when the enigmatic security expert strikes up a friendship with her—surprised but flattered, and maybe a little bit turned on.

A company as powerful as Osbourne Corporation has powerful enemies, and when Jay becomes a target, Jordan realizes there’s nothing he won’t do to bring her home safe.

Claimed by Alexa Riley is Book 3 in the For Her series and returns us to the world of Osbourne Corp. Jay Rose is Miles Osbourne's Assistant and gate keeper, and that doesn't make it easy to make friends. The moment Jordan Chen lays eyes on her, she doesn't know it yet, but she's claimed him, or the other way around, but it takes them a while to move from freinds to lovers. As the story develops you get to know Jordan and Jay better and as each character develops you fall in love with them and what they mean to each other. Jordan's story and his Pop's make you feel for him and like him even more and Jay's relationship with her sister grows and develops during Claimed as well. I liked how it wasn't easy for Jay and Jordan, they keep making mistakes, but their commitment to each other never waivers, even when dates go wrong and chaos rips them apart. Overall I very much recommend Claimed, by Alexa Riley, and enjoyed the progression of the story. Jay is both a strong and soft character and Jordan is a match for her. This was a sweet story with a slow burn bringing passion and heat. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book I received for free from the publisher in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

I really enjoyed this quick read. Jay & Jordan really work as a couple;they have such awesome chemistry. I loved his protectiveness of her. The story really flowed well and the characters were very likable. Equal parts sweet, funny and steamy.

Super, super sweet, super geek, super buff, man finds love of his life with ever-efficient, lonely, also geeky, overchieving admin assistant of the company. And they are perfect for each other! And everything goes against them! Put they power through! And they both think they are in the friend zone, but they are wrong! And then the real story begins :) Jordan and Jay have been lunch buddies since they met. She is the feared and dauntless right hand for Miles Osbourne of the Osbourne Corp. Miles is a little distracted lately since marrying the love of his life, and he is off on his moneymoon. When she met Jordan, she was happy to have a friend at work. Being the bosses eyes and ears means most people avoid her. She finds Jordan unbelivably sexy, but he is her friend. She doesn't flirt well, or at least, he isn't picking up on it, so she is doing it wrong, right? Jordan was set speechless when he first met Jay. She decided they would be friends, so he went with it, but he wants it all from her. Working in the security division, and the resident computer guru, he taps into her life and loves her from afar. Then he takes his chance, and keeps at it, until he gets his woman. Add in dates where everything goes wrong, Jay's flaky hippy sister, Jordan's sweet, gruff, dad, and whole host of workplace gossips, and you have a story that is a lot of fun, a lot of sweet, and whole lot of sexy build up, and crazy sexy follow through Oh, and some actual crazy people threatening Jay, which she hides, and brings out the alpha in our sweet little computer geek to save his woman. Even that was perfection, as our gang comes together to get things done, and the relatives are needed to keep our couple sane. In other words, this delivered big time for a sweet read, a sexy read, a fun read, a mystery read, and an overall amazing read!

I have to say this was my least favorite out of the 3 in the For Her stand alone trilogies. This did have the insta-love, with a lot of suspense. I didn't find Jay to be that special in this book. If she was mentioned in the other 2, I honestly don't remember her. I also got annoyed with of the "J" names. Jordan, Jay, Justice even the therapist was name John! I felt like the beginning needed a different opener in the 1st few chapters. I just felt I was sorta of thrown in the middle of a book. I will say there were unexpected events that I didn't see coming.

Claimed: A For Her Novel Alexa Riley is book Three in the "For Her" series. This is the story of Jordan Chen and Jay Rose. I have read the previous books (and loved them~!) but feel this can be a standalone book. I just love Ms. Riley's book and always so excited when she does a full length book so I had to have this one for sure!~ Jordan is a smart guy who I would say seems to stay in the back ground but when he sees Jay it sets something off in him. Jordan still has a hard time putting words in to full length around her but he does start to come out. Jordan turns into the much loved stalker/alpha male character. Jay is the usually confident hardworking girl working to put Jordan in the friends zone until he would be placed there anymore. Loved their story!!

Stuck in the friend zone is not where Jordan Chen wants to be when he looks at Jay Rose. Some may think she's cold and driven but he know the warm loving woman behind the facade. As head of security for Osborn Corporation Jordan has had plenty of time to watch and fall in love with Jay. So how does he get her to see him as more than a friend? When Jay becomes a target of trouble, she finds out exactly how Jordan is willing to do to protect her and just how much he cares. This is a nicely written story and these characters are fantastic. I think everyone will enjoy this story. I highly recommend it.

Alexa Riley is the go to writing duo when you’re looking for something short, sassy, angst free and with scorching heat. Claimed fits the bill perfectly. Longer than their quickies, this one has a bit of drama and mystery as well as suspense included. There is still plenty of insta-everything but this time there’s a friendship that developed before either of these characters showed their feelings. Jay is smart and independent. She works hard and doesn’t back down when confronted by a problem or someone out to harm her. Jordan is a computer whiz and he stalks her via the security feeds at their place of work. He doesn’t try to hide the fact and Jay kind of likes that he does so. Together this couple were so sweet and charming. Their chemistry was steaming and their possessiveness in regards to each other was equal. While the mystery might not have been all that mysterious, it added depth to what was a very enjoyable read. I read AR to get out of my head, refresh my reader’s palate and satisfy my need for a sweet h, an alpha H, lots of heat, an HEA, and babies. Mission accomplished. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley and Carina Press. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Jordan and Jay were such a cute couple! We got the overly possessive, stalking Hero in Jordan that Alexa Riley is known for but he was also a bit shy at first. I was surprised to see our main couple have a normal, fumbling and nervous start to their relationship. They were adorable! I'm not sure if shy is the right word I should use for Jordan. His and Jay's start to their relationship had him come off as the IT nerd who can't make a complete sentence in front of Jay, which puts him in the friend zone at first. In the background we get that protective but stalkerish Hero we all expect from AR. He's in IT, he's got access to everything. Enough said. Jay comes off as the confident one until Jordan makes the move out of the friend zone. Then Jay becomes the nervous klutz and it was adorable! Their first date should have been a complete disaster but all Jordan cares about is being with Jay. Once Jay gets threatened, then his caveman really comes out! I've always wanted longer books from this author. This is my first full length book of Alexa Riley and it didn't disappoint! I have not read the first two books in the series...yet, but you don't need to to be able to read this one. They are all standalone books that carry over some of the same characters.
