About the Author

Dr. David L. Smith has more than 50 years of professional ministry service. Recipient of the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, he has served as pastor of churches in Indiana, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec. He has ministered as professor of Christian theology and Academic Vice-President at Providence (Manitoba) Theological Seminary and then as Seminary Dean and Executive Vice-President of Heritage College and Theological Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario. He has published numerous books with Bridgepoint, Baker, Wipf & Stock, and others in the area of Christian ministry and biblical theology.
