About the Author

Leslie Crawford is an American Author from Baltimore, Maryland. Her life's work is to entertain her readers through her books but also to teach them a lesson about the various things women go through in life.
In October 2013, Leslie released her first novel, Forbidden Fruit. Forbidden Fruit channeled the life of a young teenager that was loved by her parents through money. Despite having money, vacation homes, cars, expensive clothes, private schools, and a trust fund; this young teenager lacked one thing, the love from her parents.
Almost a year later Leslie released the sequel to Forbidden Fruit; Forbidden Fruit II: The Aftertaste. The Aftertaste continued to channel the life of Monique as she continued to spin out of control and lose focus of her life.
In 2015 Leslie son asked her if she could write a book he could read. With the thought in mind Leslie and her son Markeice released Coach Mom in January 2016. Leslie allowed her son to create the storyline and characters for the books. Coach Mom focused around a young boy who mom decided to coach his soccer team. Not believing a woman could coach a soccer team, he decided to sabotage the team. Coach Mom teaches children about teamwork, respect, discipline, and friendship.
Leslie always had a love for reading but her desire to write came about in 2010. Once she started creating stories in her head, it became her passion. In 2013 Exposed Books Publishing, LLC was created by Leslie, where she was able to self-publish her own books. Leslie desire is not to only write books to entertain but to teach a lesson and encourage someone to keep going.
Things have not been easy for Leslie. While working full-time, being a single mom, and trying to maintain a household; Leslie continued to pursue her passion for writing. Leslie ultimate goals are to become a motivational speaker, role model, and tour the country to promote her book and to let others know they can succeed. When all of the excitement dies down, Leslie would like to be known as a woman of God that didn't give up.
