Where there's smoke there's fire, and hate can always turn into love. Lucy hates me. She especially hates how much I want her.
And sweet h*ll do I want her. But she can't be bothered to even give me the time of day. I should give up the chase, but I can't.

It's more than a spark between us. It's a bonfire. Fate rolls the dice and lands Lucy right where I want her. She needs my help, and I need her.

One taste, and I'm lost. I'll do anything to have her and to hold her. To make her mine.

Levi drives me crazy, and not the good kind of crazy. He's smoldering hot and so handsome, it's downright dangerous.

A hotshot firefighter, he nearly sets me on fire whenever he's around. Perhaps it's an occupational hazard.

He teases me every chance he gets and tempts me to let down my guard. I definitely don't need a man. But Levi's more than a man. He's a man on octane fuel—pure masculinity practically oozes from his pores.

One night of weakness, and I tumble into his fire. It's more than desire. It's how I feel when I'm with him—safe and protected. I never want to let go.

*This is a full-length standalone romance with a guaranteed happily-ever-after.

This is book three of the Into the Fire series and it features Levi and Lucy. What I enjoyed most about this book was this author did not overuse Lucy's stubbornness and she was EXTREMELY stubborn. Lucy was jaded and one would almost think she disliked men. Levi on the other hand was charming, sexy, honest and determined to win her over. He was also patient. EXTREMELY patient. This whole series has great story lines with great flow and highly entertaining characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

This book was really great read. "Burn so Bad" is hot, steamy and really sweet romance. This book is third in the series and it brings us Lucy and Levi's story. Levi is Hotshot firefighter and for sometime he's been trying to make Lucy go out with him,but he was unsuccessful. But you know how the saying goes "patient is a virtue" so when Lucy gets herself into trouble Levi finally gets his chance with her. Lucy is partners in Kick A** Construction with her friend Amelia. She is strong minded heroin and not into dating guys.To be honest Lucy annoyed the hell out of me.I understand her story and her fears but the way she was with Levi just annoyed me.Levi is really patient and good with her,not to mention sexy as hell and she just couldn't deal with her feelings. For her it was easier to ignore her feelings and pretend like they don't exist.I was glad when she finally came to her sens because Levi is one really good guy. Overall this was really good, steamy, emotional read with just little bit of action to make your hurt jump. This book is third in the series but it can be also read as a standalone, and i recommend it to everyone. For me it had just the right dose of emotions and one hot guy to swoon over.
