Overview
The “Brewmasters Handy Kitchen Guide” is a great text which helps everyone, the novice included to be able to prepare their very own batch of cider, hard cider or peach cider from the comfort of home. Of course many may balk at the idea of having to create cider at home, as their lives are already too fast paced to include anything else. However, brewing cider is a great way to do something with family or just to relieve some stress.
The end results of this hobby speak for itself. The author is aware of this and makes every attempt to convey this through his text. He tries to cover everything as he starts out by giving a brief history of cider then moves on in a sequential manner to outline the various types of cider and then the best way to prepare the most popular types.
The "How to Brew Cider, Hard Cider and Peach Cider From the Comfort of Home" is a great text to have in a household that loves to prepare things from scratch. It is also something that can be a great distracter from the many negative things that are going on around us.
This book is well timed as we are in a world where more and more people are opting to do things the old way, the more natural way in a bid to get rid of all those preservatives and additives that are known to be unhealthy. Many folks prefer homemade cider for the taste and once the lessons within this guide are learned, brewing cider yourself may end up being your preferred method as well.

About the Author
Trevor Hill has quite a number of interests and has written on a number of them, including the Distillers Handy Kitchen Guide. Now brewing can be included in his catalogue. It is not just any brewing either. It is the brewing of cider that he has opted to focus on. It has become somewhat of a lost art in some areas.
As he is becoming more and more tuned in to the idea of doing as much for oneself as possible, like growing one’s own vegetables and fruits, as well as rearing animals if your location permits; why not make cider as well.
The process is time honored and is not as hard as it may seem. He explains this and more in his text. As Trevor is aware that many only drink it and know not much else about it he also includes a brief overview of what cider is and where it came from along with information of the various types of cider that currently exist.
The text is simple to understand and everything is pretty easy to follow, even by the novice cider brewer. He encourages all to try and make their own cider and enjoy the results right from the comfort of their own home.
