Short story of slaves used to build an aquaduct. May not sound interesting, but you are drawn in and mesmerized by the story.

I haven't read this yet but I'm sure it's amazing. Just finished Breakers and Meltdown and this guy (Edward Robertson) is a gem. Blows Dashner and Collins out of the water. Wish I could be his friend.
