Branch is the story of an unnoticed Christmas tree because of his size. Branch spends one whole Christmas season unchosen. After a year of learning how to nourish his body as suggested by his farmer, he grows to be one of the fullest, most beautiful trees in the farm that was finally chosen during the next Christmas season. The story of Branch teaches children about hard work, dedication, and motivation, and that anything is obtainable if they set their minds to it. Children will also enjoy reading a story that possibly shares one of their own family traditions during the holidays, choosing their favorite Christmas tree!

About the Author

Lindsay is from Gardner, Louisiana where she grew up with her father, mother, and brother. She is currently an 8th grade English teacher at Tioga Junior High. She was an elementary teacher for six years and taught Special Education. She graduated from Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana with her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana with a masters degree in Special Education (Mild/Moderate).
