The Bishop siblings' family is on the verge of collapse as all three find themselves embroiled in danger. Family bonds may keep them alive...but only love can give them something to live for. Read BISHOP'S KNIGHT, the first novel in this ALL NEW heart-pounding Endgame trilogy!

She needs his protection...

Thanks to years of government training, Evie Bishop knows how to get into places she doesn't belong—and she's very good at it. But years of doing black ops work burned her out so she returns home—to unexpected chaos. One of her brothers is in a coma and the other is in hiding, wanted for murder. Then a fellow operative from her past shows up shot and bleeding with news that an assassin is gunning for everyone involved with a past op. She's forced to turn to the one man she knows she can trust—the man whose heart she broke.

But it will come with a price...

When Dylan Blackwood proposed a year ago, Evie turned him down flat and walked out of his life. He's stunned when he finds her on his doorstep covered in someone else's blood, needing his help. He always knew there was more to her than met the eye—that Evie was never simply the pampered society princess she wanted people to believe she was. But he never expected this. If she needs help, he'll give it. Even if he can't forget her betrayal. Even if he isn't sure he can trust her. But his protection will come with a price—her heart. Before they can have a chance at a future, they'll have to work together to take down a faceless enemy who has Evie firmly in his crosshairs.

I have read many of Katie Reus books, and to see a new series excited me. The first book has turned out to be everything I enjoy, the action, the adventure, the romance. I can't wait to get the rest of them and I already have the next book sitting in my library waiting. Keep them coming Katie

Loved the story and even when you thought you knew the enemy there was a twist.

## FABULOUS. Loved this first installment of the trilogy. Just FYI, this is not a cliffhanger. This couple, Bishop and Dylan, get their HEA. Yay. The other installments will be about the brothers who appear briefly in this story. Hero and heroine are both likeable and have tremendous chemistry. I adored this heroine. She was capable, strong, sassy, and kind. And the hero was hot as all get out. I love that neither of them had been with anyone else since their break up 6 mos ago. No manslut in this story. Thank you for that Katie. I will definitely be reading this again and look forward to Evan's story.

You can expect sexy times, multiple twists and turns and plenty of thrills... She had no future with Dylan Blackwood. He was a former lover, a former asset, former… everything. Katie Reus kicks off her Endgame Trilogy with a torrent of steam in Bishop’s Knight. The series will feature the stories of three siblings in the Bishop family. This installment shines the spotlight on Evie Bishop, a former CIA operative, and Dylan Blackwood, the man she walked away from a year ago when he proposed. The story is told from their dual perspectives. Evie has left the CIA to return home for some much-needed R&R. Instead, she finds her oldest brother, Evan, in the hospital after his office was bombed and her middle brother in hiding after being accused of the murder of one of his DEA partners. As if that’s not enough, Evie and a former CIA co-worker find themselves squarely in the crosshairs of an unknown assailant. Evie desperately needs a safe base from which she can hunker down for a bit and track down the shooter. Not knowing who she can trust or where to turn, she seeks refuge on Dylan’s doorstep – the man she loved and walked away from without an explanation when he got down on his knee to her. Sadly, she fears that once she comes clean with Dylan, he will be the one to walk away from her. Dylan is a former military man who has found success as a real estate mogul. Dylan never expected to see Evie again after she broke his heart. He could have turned her away when she appeared on his doorstep, but he offered her his protection because that’s the kind of man Dylan is. In addition to being supportive and capable, he also sports some awesome abs. Surprisingly, he trusts Evie to run her own show even after she broke his heart. Evie is a skilled and intelligent kick butt heroine who has prioritized serving her country. Dylan and Evie are terrific together and Katie pulls off the seemingly impossible job of re-uniting the duo. Supporting characters include Samara who is Evie’s friend and ex-CIA-colleague. Samara and Evie team up when they are being targeted by the same marksman. Samara makes it plain that she’s not to be crossed either! Fans of Katie’s Red Stone Security series will be happy to see some of the familiar gang make appearances too. Following please find a few of my favorite lines from Bishop’s Knight: She didn’t deserve him. Even if she desperately wanted him. --- All she could think about was kissing him, tasting him, maybe forgetting the insanity of her life right now. --- He crossed the distance between them, fighting the urge to touch her, to cup her face, to take her onto the mat right here. To kiss her senseless. You can expect sexy times, multiple twists and turns and plenty of thrills to keep you on the edge of your seat in Bishop’s Knight. This particular story kept me guessing at the villain until the big reveal. Katie is one of my favorite authors because she never fails to deliver a riveting read and she hits another home run with this tale! You positively won’t want to put this book down once you’ve started it. If you are craving am exciting and hot second-chance-at-love contemporary romance with a heap of action and heart-stopping suspense, you can’t go wrong with Bishop’s Knight! Now, I can’t wait for Bishop’s Queen starring Evan Bishop and fiancée Isla. The intriguing setup for their story is in this first installment. Bishop’s Queen just released this month and it’s already on my reader!

3.5stars This is an intense second chance romance love story. After her friend is shot the only person Evie can turn on is her former lover Dylan. Evie's life is in a complete mess so seeing Dylan is hard for her especially because she was undercover and really fell in love with him. She is scared to tell him the truth because she knows that it will not end well. Dylan is happy to see Evi again and is starting to see a whole new side of her. Will he forgive her when he finds the truth? A quick spy love story that keeps you on your toes with a little bit of family drama and a second chance for love. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

In "Bishop's Knight, the 1st book in 'The Endgame trilogy', Evie Bishop and Dylan Blackwood burn up the pages as Evie's past in black ops comes back with a vengeance. Someone is targeting Evie, and others from one of their black ops. Even her brothers, with their past in government operations haven't escaped being targeted. Sexy billionaire Dylan Blackwood has a broken past with Evie when she walked away from his proposal, but with his own military past and love for Evie, he cannot stand by and do nothing. A real page turner with action, suspense, and romance, it is one not to be missed for lovers of the genre and Katie Reus books. Looking forward to reading the next in the series, I would like to thank NetGalley & KR Press LLC for gifting me "Bishop's Knight". My opinion is my own and freely given. 5 Stars!

CAN A SPY EVER SAY "I have had enough and I want to go HOME?" The Bishop family is in a bad way and Evie Bishop (former CIA) returns to Miami finding out that these issues are more difficult to solve than her Life and Death Job has been. Foremost on the table is the fact that someone is trying to kill her and members of her former team. And...if these are not enough challenges she must ask her former op mark and almost fiance Dylan Blackwood for HELP. TRILOGY YEAH more to come! At first, he was just an asset, someone to use to get to the person she needed to meet. Then, he became someone important to her, someone she could love. What if he finds out that she lied to him? Evie Bishop is a CIA operative and it’s vital that she completes the mission. Dylan Blackwood is a wealthy and amazing man and when her good friend is shot, he is the only one that she knows can help her. Evie’s life is in turmoil. Her one brother, Ellis, has been framed for murder and is on the run while her other brother, Evan, lies in a coma after being injured in an explosion. Someone is killing off the members of her team and she needs to find out who and put them out of business. An exciting and thrilling romantic suspense as Dylan soon realizes that this time, he will do everything he can to keep Evie in his life and protect her. I so enjoy reading about strong female characters that handle the danger when threatened. This is the first book in the “End Game” series and I look forward to the next two books. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Bishop’s Knight by Katie Reus Endgame Trilogy #1 Action-packed from beginning to end this book had me hooked and unwilling to put it down till I had finished it! It lays the groundwork for the books to follow and was absolutely great in its own right. What I liked: * Evie: She was a tough cookie with a heart of gold. She loved her family, job, friends and...Dylan * Dylan: Oh my...a hunk and a half wonderful book boyfriend! * All of it from beginning to end! Plot, pacing, romance...all of it! What I didn’t like: * The bad guy – so thankful he got his comeuppance! Did I enjoy this book? Yes Would I like to read more in this series? Without a doubt Will I read more by this author? I have to say that this is a pretty good story to a new trilogy. We have it all in Bishop's Knight. Seriously, we start off with Evie Bishop who was CIA, but has retired. However, she gets sucked back in to help a friend. She's trying to figure out what's going on with her brothers, which is a great way to tell you there is more to come. The icing on the cake is past love interest. Yes, we have a second chance romance. If that wasn't enough we have the element of danger. There is a lot packed into this one story, but it has you wanting to know more. We get a glimpse of Evie's brothers in here. We know that one brother is pretty badly injured, and the other is wanted for murder. She's trying to save a friend which puts her life in jeopardy. Of course, she goes to the one person that she knows and trust, Dylan Blackwood. He could totally toss her on her butt, and never look back. The history, but he wants to help. Like I said, it's a pretty good lead to the trilogy. It makes me wonder if what happens in this book also tie to Evie's brothers situation. I can't wait for the rest of the books to come. So, if you are looking for romance and suspense, look no further and try Bishop's Knight. Copy provided by author.

I love all of Katie's books and this is no exception. Evie's book is the first of this series and I was hooked from the beginning and wishing the others in the series were already available. There's action, suspense, and great chemistry between Evie and Dylan. If you enjoy all of these, you won't be disappointed.

Terrific action and adventure in this first story in the new Endgame trilogy from this fantastic author. This has all the alphabet agencies involved with several storylines surrounding the Bishop siblings. The main focus is on the mystery of who's killing operatives with Evie Bishop front and center. I love this fabulous heroine as a kickass CIA operative and her equally talented sidekick, Samara. These two take on the bad guys with thrilling cunning and skill. And when they get in a jam Evie turns to her former flame, the extremely hunky, Dylan. The former military/billionaire is yummy! But things ended badly between the two and Evie needs to come clean if she wants a second chance with Dylan. The chemistry between these two is steamy and undeniable. But first Dylan has to helps Evie stay alive while hunting the culprit. The Bishop family is in the mix with one of Evie's brothers on the run and the other involved in a tragedy. Sets up for things to come in this series. A fast-moving spy mystery and a sizzling second-chance romance. What more do you need? Just fantastic! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

I always like the first book in a new series because it sets the tone for the rest of the series and gives me a glimpse of the other characters that will be coming. And the author is really going to have her work cut out of her to outdo this book! BISHOP’S KNIGHT is chock full of intrigue, danger, adventure, and passion. Dylan and Evie are explosive together! They match each other and are perfect for the other. Evie broke it off with him to protect him, but there is no stopping what is meant to be. Dylan definitely takes what is thrown at him and runs with it and also shows that he is more than willing to go the length for Evie, no matter what. There are a number of twists and turns in this that I didn’t expect to come and really liked how the author made them play out. The end wasn’t obvious which was really nice and kept the suspense up throughout the book. And the setup for the next two books in the series was really good. I will say that I think the oldest brothers book is going to be heartbreaking, but his heroine (who I hope stays the heroine) is going to make the hero crawl before she can forgive him (he is being a bit of an idiot right now). And I am totally intrigued by the other brothers story. I want to know what is going to happen!! Overall, great book with an awesome storyline and action packed scene with intrigue aplenty! This book sets a high bar for the rest of the series but I have a feeling that the author is more than ready to take on the challenge! So two high thumbs up and happy reading!

Incredible beginning to a new series!!! I always love new characters and beginnings that I know are going to grow into new worlds. This is definitely one of those books. The Bishop’s are a family struggling. Not financially but if trouble comes in three’s, they are all there. This is Evie’s story. Evie Bishop is a strong woman with one weakness…and his name is Dylan Blackwood. She had to use him as a target for a CIA op but she fell in love. Unfortunately she wasn’t in a position to make long term plans. And now she is back and needs his help. We are going to get the Bishop brothers stories in the future and I can’t wait!!!!! Start this now and you will be ready!!!!!!

Romantic suspense puzzles...Katie Reus writes some of the best. It will take three stories to unravel all of the troubles that have fallen on the Bishop family. Who's targeting the Bishop family and why? former CIA operative Evie Bishop is a master at quizzing out threats like this. Evangeline Bishop, Evie was recruited for the CIA in college and is very good at her job, but she's had enough after her op where she fell in love with Dylan Blackwood. For the Jensen op last year she went in as herself, using her family connections to take down a human smuggler. That's where she got reintroduced to family friend Dylan Blackwood who also made a fortune in real estate. She used him to get introduced to Rod Jensen, real estate mogul. The op was successful but she and Dylan fell in love with each other, something she has never allowed. When he asked her to marry him, she turned him down because she was returning to her undercover work and had lied to him. Six months later she's retired and home in Miami once again trying to figure out why someone bombed her brother Evan's office and her other brother Ellis is in hiding charged with a murder he didn't commit. Evan's in a coma and his future father-in-law's dead from the bombing. Ellis is DEA and a good guy so she knows he didn't do it. Evie goes into action when her former teammate Samara Sousa lands on her doorstep with a gunshot wound. Their teammates from the Jensen op are coming up dead and they are both being targeted. The only place she can think of to get Samara a doctor's care without reporting it is her former lover Dylan who has a concierge doctor available. As much as she's torn, given how she hurt him she goes to him for help. He still loves her and comes to her aid. I came to really love Dylan. He's so much more than he seems. He is her partner and equal in every way. He doesn't back down from dangerous action making me wonder what he did during his military years, Reus never tells us but given his skills I would guess elite ops. Together they puzzle out who's trying to kill her and Samara in this story. The next one will be Evan's puzzle while the third will be Ellis' and why he's being framed for murder. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The first book in the Endgame Trilogy starts definitely set the bar high for the remaining books. The story dives right in. No warning, no teaser, just BAM, hold on tight. Even though the main characters are Evie and Dylan, this book also starts the story line threads for the brothers, Ellis and Evan. Katie Reus does really well weaving in other character story lines within the main story line. Not only does it enhance the current read, there’s always just enough of a teaser that I look forward to next book with a little anticipation than normal. This is definitely a romantic suspense, so the aura of danger is pretty much on every page. The secondary characters are just as entertaining as the main couple and sometimes outshine them. If you’ve read previous series by Katie Reus, then you’ll recognize a few of the characters she sprinkles in to help move the story along. The dialogue is witty and gritty and emotional. I became quite invested in this couple Great start to a new series. ARC received in exchange for honest review.

A great start to what I'm sure will be a fantastic trilogy. The story line is action packed, filled with mystery, family bonds and unrequited love. Unique connections and interactions among characters add another amazing layer to the story. Can't wait for more. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book; all opinions expressed are my own.
