I thought this book was really hot, but it ended abruptly and was too short....about 140 pages. Wish N&N would put the tptal pages on the synopsis like Amazon does.

Enjoyed this story very much. Standalone 150 pages. Lots of laughs and steamy sex scenes. Mature readers only. Complete novel. NOT a cliffhanger

A cute and sexy story of 'frenemies' realizing that it's really love. Predictable but cute.

Let's combine 3 of my favorite things: Carly Phillips, Erika Wilde, and a best friend's little sister trope. Good! Now, you've got Big Shot, and I strongly demand you go read this book. It is fresh, witty, and ridiculously sexy. Wes Sinclair and Natalie Prescott aren't you normal unrequited love pair. The bring friendly competitiveness to a new level which just serves to amp up the chemistry between them to a whole new height, one that will have you reaching for your fan and/or lover. What lies under their tumultuous passion is a cleverly written repartee between the business adversaries. What begins as a friendly competition soon leads to higher stakes with their hearts on the line. Wes brings an equally intense and endearing alpha attitude to the table while Natalie brings a strong, sweet and wily character. Together the two fit like perfect puzzle pieces that happen to have the same ended magnets on them. They don't want to want each other the way they do, but their dance of ebb and flow enticed and excited from the get-go. Hands down, you must read Big Shot. It might be my new favorite from Carly and Erika. For sure that french maid outfit scene has been burned into my memory in a delicious way. I am beyond excited about the future books that are to come from Wes' friends! Happy Reading! *ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

Oh Em Geeeeeee!!!!! Wes Sinclair and Natalie Prescott are perfect for each other. He is a sexy, cocky, alpha male who is the best at his job and she is a sassy, independent woman who has been in love with him since she was a young girl. A bet, a proposition, a consensual and mutually satisfying affair and the mighty fall hard and it is fun to watch it happen. This is the start of a new series and if this is any indication, this is going to be another spectacular one! **Received an ARC copy for review**

BIG SHOT is the first installment the contemporary, adult erotic, BOOK BOYFRIEND romance series co-authored by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. This is hot shot realtor Wes Sinclair, and up and coming realtor Natalie Prescott’s story line. BIG SHOT was originally released under the title HOT AS SIN. Told from dual third person perspectives (Wes and Natalie) BIG SHOT follows the building relationship between two real estate agents Wes Sinclair and Natalie Prescott. For most of her life Natalie has been in love with her brother Connor’s best friend Wes Sinclair. A successful realtor selling million dollar listings Wes is the man to beat when it comes to the competition. Natalie’s chart climbing sales are in direct competition to her brother’s friend, and it doesn’t help that Wes refused Natalie’s request for a position with his firm. When Natalie finalizes a sale that once belonged to Wes Sinclair, the two make a bet that Natalie is determined not to lose. What ensues is a two week payment wherein our heroine will lose her heart to a man who wants nothing more than the present and a good time. The relationship between Natalie and Wes is one of life-long attraction but Natalie is Connor’s younger sister, and for all intents and purposes is off limits to Wes Sinclair. Natalie has secretly been in love with We Sinclair for most of her life but the man refuses to see her as more than the ‘brat’ she was growing up. When Natalie loses a bet placing herself in a two week position to do everything that Wes wants, our heroine is determine to drive Wes crazy and out of his mind ensuring he will never forget that she is no longer the little girl from years before. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and seductive with a little bit of ‘spanking’ on the side. We are introduced to Wes’s best friends and business partner, as well as Natalie’s brother-Connor Prescott, and fellow realtor Max Sterling, as well as Natalie’s best guy friend and agent Richard Weller. I am hoping for a story line featuring Richard and someone he can love. The world building focuses on the ‘payment of debt’ when Natalie loses a bet to Wes Sinclair. Wes’s attraction to Natalie increases with every encounter but Natalie is determined to walk away before the heartbreak of love- an offer from out of state finds our heroine considering her options. BIG SHOT is a flirty and sexy romance between two people who have lusted after one another for years. The writing is seamless; the story line flows evenly as the two authors blend their talents for a magnificent story. The premise is heartwarming and enjoyable; the romance is passionate and intense; the characters are energetic and playful.

I always love it when Carly and Erika get together and write a book. They are always SO sexy, steamy, fun, and swoon-worthy. Big Shot was one of my top favorite troupes also!!!! The forbidden best friends little sister. Wes and Natalie sure fought against their attraction for a long time. So much so they considered themselves "frenimes". I loved watching Wes fall in love. It's always the best when the ones that resist relationships the most fall the hardest. These two had extremely sexy chemistry and their love story is one I'll remember for a long time to come! Happy reading!

Working that magic that they do so well, authors Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde have done it again. Being the seasoned writers that they are, working together just seems to bring out the best in both of these ladies, as shown by their latest, BIG SHOT. With no positive examples of love to draw on in his life, Wes Sinclair is most definitely not in the game of love for the long haul. Oh, he enjoys his fair share of women, but he's absolutely not looking for a happily ever after. And, while he's long had the hots for his best friend's little sister, Wes knows that nothing can ever come of it. Yes, Natalie Prescott is smoking hot, and yes, she pushes Wes' buttons like no other, but Wes knows better than to break the Bro Code, not even for Natalie. But, wait, there's more... Yep, so much more. Because, sassy, spunky, realtor on the rise Natalie knows just how to get a rise out of Wes, in more ways than one. When a friendly little wager ends up with Natalie at Wes' mercy for two weeks, how in the world are these two not going to give in to the passion that has been smoldering between them for forever? I really like Wes. Sure, he's is a player, but it doesn't take him long to open his eyes and figure out exactly what's important to him (a little kick in the pants from best friend Connor notwithstanding). He's always viewed Natalie as the pesky little sister, the 'frenemy' that he enjoys sparring with, but seeing Natalie as the capable, successful, passionate young woman that she's become is an eye-opener for him. Keeping it casual as usual just isn't going to work, because the heart wants what the heart wants. And, Natalie, before too long, is what Wes' heart wants. Natalie is a breath of fresh air. She's determined to have the life that she wants and the success that she deserves, and she's not waiting around for anyone to hand these things to her. She's loved Wes for as long as she can remember, but is not fooling herself into thinking that he's the one, because she knows him so well. But casual flings aren't for everyone, and that hold that Wes has on her heart isn't about to let Natalie do the easy breezy thing. I love that she is strong enough to pick herself up and forge ahead, even while nursing a fair bit of heartbreak. The sizzle between Wes and Natalie is white-hot, but it's the humor, the friendship, the easiness of their relationship, as things progress, that really make me enjoy them so much. Carly and Erika have done a lovely job of showing their bad boy just how sweet surrender can be, no matter who's giving in. 4.5 steamy, sassy, sweet stars for BIG SHOT. This is definitely one to add to your TBR list.

Wes Sinclair had it going on that's for sure but the perfect book boyfriend was best friend Richard. Wes was "dream man" material with his sexy smile, arrogant demeanor and bedroom charm, however Richard with his smart mouth, hearty devotion and sense of humor was addictive as well. Natalie had it made on both sides of the spectrum. A good thing Richie boy was gay because Wes would have had some stiff competition. Big Shot had me in stitches when I wasn't salivating over the fireball that is Wes and Natalie. The battle of wills became a showdown of the heart. Ms. Phillips and Ms. Wilde are the power duo of the romance world. They seem to always get it right.
