Be the Miracle is filled with spiritual blessings - both in the lovely miracles the author has experienced and in the inspiration I received in reading about them. We all experience miracles--whether we are aware of them or not, but how special is it to be mindful and to choose to see them in our daily lives. I really like how the stories are organized. Each short story/memoir/event is followed by interactive pages to encourage and prompt you to particular actions you can make in your own life. I love the provided lined pages allowing you to document the impact the story made on you, or the impact you can make on others. The stories shared are inspiring and edifying. They motivate me to recognize and display the miracles in my own life. God is working in our lives everyday and oftentimes we pass him by and don't recognize the brilliant, unexplainable happenings along our paths. This book reminds us to look, see, act, remember, and grow. I received a copy of this book from the author via The CWA Review Crew. I was under no obligation to post a positive review. #CWAReviewCrew #BeTheMiracle

BE THE MIRACLE is a book chock-full of miracles. I love that Ms. Liesner had so many happen for her. I have seen a miracle or two, but mostly I am walking by faith That aside, she is encouraging us to BE THE MIRACLE to others. If God asks us to provide that old car we were going to sell for free to a young couple who needs a vehicle, do it, and see how God blesses. If He asks you to donate a certain percentage of your income for a certain length of time -- do it and trust God to provide the lack. She tells us to Pray. Listen. And obey. Simple. In addition to Ms. Liesner's lovely stories of miracles, she includes a worksheet for each, with pray, prepare, take action, and journal with plenty of lines to write on. This would make it great for small group studies, especially groups who want to show God's love by giving in some manner. Also good for personal use. For more conservative readers. some of the scripture references are The Message which some object to. I was given a copy free by a friend (not the author) and all opinions are my own.

Be the Miracle I definitely believe in miracles, loved the stories in this book about what the author experienced. Loved how God spoke to her and nudge her to do things that she didn’t know why at that time but a few days later. like lot of other books, at the end of each chapter there is a section to help you think, prayer and space to journal. Close to the end, the book covers the Most Important Miracle which is no secret to Christians. This book can be used as a group study also. This is an nonfiction book that I could definitely relate to. I received an complementary copy of the book from Celebrate Lit. I was not required to write an positive review. This is my own opinion.

I wasn't really sure what this book was going to entail. The title screamed miracles are everywhere and I figured that I was going to read some stories about unbelievable events where God performed miracles. The first lesson I received from this book is to not judge a book by its cover or in this case by the title. I never really thought of miracles as anything but God healing someone when it seemed hopeless or saving someone from certain death. In this book I found wonderful stories of people who needed help, prayed and God answered their prayers when they thought there was no hope. How many of us have paid for someone's meal in line behind us at a drive-thru? We will never know how much that person needed a miracle that day. The book has made me become more aware of listening to God and obeying what He has called us to do. As the author says, "He wants us to be His hands and feet." So many times we need help, but we don't ask. I liked how the book is set up that after every chapter is scriptures that reflect on what was talked about in the chapter. It gives us a challenge ,to pray and prepare ourselves. I am a huge fan of bible studies and love journals. This is the perfect book for me. I do remember a time when my youngest son was eighteen months old. He started having seizures and broke out in a rash all over his body. He was transported to the hospital to have tests done. I noticed one nurse refused to come near my son. I asked her why and her answer hurt but I understood. She was pregnant and the doctors suspected that my baby had meningitis. His room was quarantined and only people who were covered in protective suits could come in. The nurse was frightened for her unborn child. In that moment I knew he didn't but I told her to remove herself from his care and to take care of her health. The hospital decided that my baby needed more specialized care and we were transported to Children's Hospital into the ICU UNIT. I was looking for a miracle that day as my child was hooked up to IVS and machines. Suddenly it became very quiet and my child says, "Hi Jesus." I looked at my son in shock . My son said that Jesus looked right at him, smiled and said he was going to be fine. Everyone in the room stood silently as my son was healed in that moment. The seizures, stopped, the fever went away and my baby stopped crying. Yes that was a miracle ,but it was also a miracle that the right people were in that room and witnessed what a little boy believed. There are still times I think about about that time and pray let me me a miracle to someone. Let me bless them. Put me in the right place at the right time. I have shared with a few about my violent and abusive past. When the holidays come, I get very depressed. When I was growing up, every Christmas was the same. I would sit and watch my brothers open up present after present. I never received any. I would cry out to God to please send me a doll or a stuffed animal. I never got one by I always believed that someday a miracle would happen. Last year in the mail was a package. It had my name on it but no return address. Inside was the cutest little baby doll I have ever seen. I cried with joy and thanked God that he didn't forget me. I treasure that doll. God sent me a miracle last year that I will never forget. We never know when God will assign something to us. It may sound weird but I know that I will obey because there is a reason. What about the lady in the story that could

Everyone loves to read about miracles happening. Each of these stories are very interesting and very believable. I cried through a few of the stories. I received a copy of this book from Celebratelit for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

This devotional Christian growth book will uplift and encourage readers to become a miracle to others. Delores Liesner shares in her easy read format miracles to her and others by listening to God’s Spirit through His inner prompting to her. Her goal for writing this book was to encourage, reassure and demonstrate to readers God does not force His will or miracles upon an individual, but that they need to be receptive to His Spirit. Each one can be used to be a miracle to another by using their resources through giving of finances, prayers, or a material item when prompted to minister to another. One of my favorite miracles Liesner shared was an Angel for Heaven. She had been prompted to purchase a doll but didn’t know why or the recipient until a couple years later when she was with a group of volunteers following hurricane Katrina. She met a family with a two year old daughter named Heaven who had lost her toys and beloved doll during the storm. Feeling prompted she gave Angel to Heaven that was a blessing and brought bouts of tears and joy to all that witnessed the moment the doll was present to Heaven. This devotional book is filled with plenty of other examples of God performing a miracle through the author with her obedience to His spirit. Be the Miracle can be used individually or in a group Bible study with each story having a life changing lesson, a Biblical scripture and life changing challenge with journal pages to write your own thoughts and miracles down. I received an ARC copy of this book through Celebrate Lit Bloggers tour with the author. All opinion expressed are my own as a positive review was not required.

This is such a good book! I'm not sure what to label it. Devotional? Inspirational personal stories? Bible Study? It could be used as any of the above. I was entranced by the story in each chapter. Each one was a real-life happening in this author's life. I know I could relate a couple of events in my life I considered miraculous, but thirty-two? And each one more wondrous than the one before. Delores Liesner is indeed blessed and a blessing. If you purchase this book, I believe you will also be blessed. I received a free copy of this book from the author. The opinions and thoughts expressed are my own.

Be The Miracle is both uplifting and convicting. It’s a sweet collection of tender touches from God, written engagingly as though you and the author are swapping stories on a road trip or over a cup of hot chocolate. Yet, within these vignettes are reminders that God wants to work this way in and through and for each of us. And, implicit in the reminder is the question: what have I missed because I didn’t pay attention? I also was so struck by the intimacy of the author’s relationship with God. It takes a day-to-day friendship with Him in order to recognize clearly His voice and His leading. While I do have a close and connected relationship with Jesus, I know that I can definitely improve in this area of friendship with Him. Life just gets in the way, doesn’t it? But, oh goodness, what we miss when we don’t make time to hang out with this Friend. Not as a chore or a duty or a checklist or homework … but just being in each others’ presence and enjoying conversation. Bottom Line: Be The Miracle will inspire you and encourage you. The stories are quick and easy to digest, and the application/life lesson sections at the end of each vignette make this a great choice for a morning devotional. This isn’t a “name-it-and-claim-it” field manual – quite the opposite. Instead it is a sweet testimony of what God can do in us and through us when we make a daily habit of walking closely with Him as friends. (I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.)

This book is full of wonderful and true stories about seeing God show up in amazing ways. I think we sometimes believe miracles don’t happen anymore, that they are days gone by. But I don’t believe that is true at all. I think we just need to open our eyes more and see all that God is doing around us. This book will be an encouragement to those reading it and also will show you ways you can be a miracle in someone else’s life. A copy of this book was given to me through The Book Club Network Inc. in exchange for an honest review.

Be The Miracle packs a big punch in the arm as a window into the heartwarming, unexpected, and transforming experiences God has placed the author in. It calls the reader to action in simple everyday ways. Delores Leisner uses her own life and Scripture to challenge and inspire them on. Each chapter is beautifully written and depicts a circumstance where God has called her to minister to a specific person. Sometimes it is monetarily, sometimes words of comfort, and often to strangers, but all are miraculous in how God orchestrates the situation. She describes very clear directions from Him at times and then some days she looks for opportunities to bless others. Actually, she always seeks to bless someone else, praying for potential participation in people's lives as they cross her path. And that's the key, she opens her eyes and ears to those around her as Jesus would. At the end of each segment she adds scripture and offers ways the reader can adopt the method utilized in reaching out to others like she did. Delores is an ordinary woman who has allowed God to use her in extraordinary circumstances to be the hands and feet of Christ. She tells how she was instrumental in preventing a man from committing suicide, how she drove miles to be in the right place at the right time to hand the exact amount of money to an old acquaintance. Her faith in action has inspired me to change my safe, self-oriented day to include miracles from God. I look forward to re-reading this book as intended and doing the exercises she suggests. This challenging writing ought to be in every Christians' library. I will be giving Be the Miracle as gifts to my friends, family, and strangers! This book is a miracle. It was instructional, encouraging and enlighting. I love it because it shows you to keep your trust in God, pray and don't get discourage when it seems as if the weight of the world is on your shoulders. It also shows you that being open to God's voice and being obedient when He calls you to do something will allow you to witness many miracles. This is not a book that you can just read once and toss to the side, no you will be compel to read and study it many, many times . I received a copy of this book from The Book Club Network in exchange for my honest review.

As the author, Deloras Liesner states "He is looking for those who will put hands and feet to their faith." We should all strive to share God's glory with those around us. These stories are so meaningful and touch your soul. How many times have each of us thought about something that happened during the day hours later? I know I have, then you think to yourself was that an opportunity I missed? Did I not listen well enough to what God was trying to show me? After reading this book I have been wondering all of this and will be more aware of my surroundings and God's voice. My sister prays ever day for miracles to happen and after reading this book I understand. God places us in situations everyday and we just need to listen. We could possibly be the answer to someone's prayers. I loved how the author gave us insight into her experiences. The life changing lessons, verses, and challenge after each chapter show us as God's children how to enrich our lives as well as those around us. I would recommend this book to everyone looking to enrich your life as well as the many that need God's word. Thank you and God Bless

Delores Liesner has penned a wonderful book of inspiration and hope in Be the Miracle. Ms. Leisner narrates true stories and real events from her life that carry a valuable message. Miracles still happen. God answers prayer. We can be a part of God’s work. I was captivated from the first story and didn’t quit until I’d read the final one. This book will have you on your knees begging to be a part of God’s amazing miracles. One can only admire Ms. Liesner’s obedience to the Holy Spirit’s calling and how alert she is to hearing His voice. My favorite part of the book was reading the author’s thoughts on ‘waiting passionately.’ Pick up a copy of Be the Miracle and be inspired to be the miracle! I received this book from bookclub network (bookfun.org) in exchange for my honest opinion.

In today's times, when news headlines change by the minute and often not with good news, who doesn't need a miracle? What I loved and appreciated by Ms. Liesner's BE THE MIRACLE is that she just doesn't write about all things miraculous like so many other authors have but rather, her approach of how each one of us can be a blessing to others is a message that cannot be ignored. I'm thankful she wrote this book and hope it will be an encouragement to many as it has encouraged me.
