I love this series and from the moment I started reading When You Are Mine, I always wanted to read Cam's story. And going through both books my craving just became stronger. Thankfully, I finally got my wish and I have to say that it blew my mind. The story is so heartbreaking that it brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion. The book was written in an intriguing and enchanting way and caught my attention from the first word. I really loved getting to know Cam and Jo even better and reading how their relationship develops. Cam is definitely a delicious and intense alpha male with mesmerizing grey-blue eyes, dark hair and a lickable shade of olive skin :) But he is also so broken inside. His childhood left him with scars that are nearly impossible to heal. And the only thing they do is torture him every single moment, no matter whether in his nightmares or during his waking hours. I loved reading how he managed to open and trust Jo little by little. How the growing intimacy between them gives him the strength to try and fight his demons. Even at his worst, he is still thinking about Jo's well being. Even if his well meaning is sometimes a little bit misguided. Jo is an amazing character. She is strong, beautiful and incredibly compassionate. The way she gives everything she has (and most of the time even more) for the kids who depend on her is simply amazing. I have to say that I also enjoyed a lot how she completely changes in Cam's hands. The way she allows only him to take of her was so romantic and tender. The way Jo sticks by Cam in his most difficult moments just shows how strong her love is, even though he turned her down or hurt her more than half of her life. I was so happy when both of them finally got their HEA :) I also feel obliged to mention that the chemistry between Jo and Cam is simply off the charts. Every time when they touch each other, they simply burn off the sheets. So be prepared :) I loved reading this book and I definitely recommended it to all lovers of romantic stories. The heartbreak of the story is masterfully entwined with romance and burn-off-the-sheets moments that balance the story quite well :) Even though I feel like this story can be read as a standalone, I will definitely recommend reading also the first two books in the series which will get you introduced to all the characters and give you better understanding of the dynamics between all the main players. I simply loved this series and I cannot wait to see what  Kennedy Ryan will come up next :) This review was originally posted at Living In Our Own Story Book Blog. I received an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review.

Jo finally gets her man!  My heart broke for Jo in the previous books and even in the beginning of this one.  She is such a strong woman, but her single weakness is her love for Cam. His constant rejection almost breaks her, but she does not give up until he admits that he wants her too. I wasn't a huge fan of Cam coming into this book because of his behavior in the first two books, but I was by the end of the book.  The flashbacks into his childhood broke my heart, but there were still times I wanted to yell at him about the way he was treating Jo. While the first two books in the series are not about Jo and Cam, I strongly suggest you do in order to fully understand their relationship. I can't say too much without revealing important parts their journey or the previous books, but I will say that this an extremely emotional read, just like Walsh and Kerrie's story.   The entire series is a AMAZING and a must read! Just be sure to have box is tissues handy - trust me, you will need it. ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I love that Jo & Cam finally admit their feelings to each other and I'm happy to see Cam coming clean about his past but, just a little too long. Three hundred pages too long.

I was gifted a copy of Be Mine Forever by Kennedy Ryan for an honest and unbiased review. This is the first book that I have read by this author. I am impressed. I love reading a story where two people, despite all that they have working against them---never give up on each other. This is one of those story.

In this last chapter in the Bennett series (best read in order) , Cam and Jo finally get their chance at a happy ending as years of friendship and unrequited love finally come full circle. They've gone through so much already - watching each other suffer through other relationships and trying to maintain a friendship through thick and thin. Now though, it's their time - the only question is whether Cam can forgive himself his past and be there for Jo the way she has always wanted to be there for him. Having lived through the heartache of watching Cam's marriage to Kerris fail, his boyhood friendship to Walsh end in tatters and his unborn child lost in the first two books of the series , it was wonderful to see him finally get some happiness in his life again, even as the story dealt with the harsh realities of his abusive upbringing. You can't read a story by this author and not be swept away by the emotions that rule it- the joy, the sorrow, the pain and the laughter all comingling into the reality of the human condition. Cam is such a complicated character - loyal and true to a fault, attractive, artistic and generous with everyone but himself. He loves Jo - but he can't even admit that to himself as he fully believes that he doesn't deserve her. As he finally admits to Jo that the attraction is not one-sided, Jo is willing to let bygones be bygones and open her heart to him fully. When Cam shares the secrets of his past with her, he realizes that it will take more than just talking about it to heal and thus goes the relationship, pushing and pulling until they finally get what they both need. The love scenes between them are explosive and emotional as all their feelings for each other come into play. I can't say that it was an easy read, there are some tough scenes and tense moments. But my overall feeling at the end was one of deep contentment for how the story played out and the happy conclusion. 5 stars for another roller coaster but ultimately satisfying read.
