BABY MINE is an angsty, emotional, slow-burn unrequited romance wrapped up in a heartbreakingly delicious love story. Get ready to laugh & cry with Hunter & Lennon!
I saw her first.
Blonde. Gorgeous. Feisty.
I was smitten.
But it didn't matter because she chose him and he was my best friend and roommate. I'd never be able to compete with that, so I pushed her away instead. It was easy when she lived hours away, and I didn't have to see her every day, but then she moved in with us.
Now, I'm screwed.
To her singing in the shower every morning, dancing in the kitchen while she makes coffee, and doing yoga in our living room, I can't stop thinking about her in all the wrong ways. She's not mine and never will be, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to push her against a wall and claim her mouth.
She's constantly on me for making messes, bringing chicks home every weekend, and being a smartass when their PDA gets on my nerves. Considering neither of them know how I feel, it's not fair for the way I act toward them. I should move out so I can get over her for good; however, the selfish part of me can't let go.
But then the unthinkable happens...
When my best friend dies in a motorcycle accident, the two of us are left to grieve our loss together. Instead of pushing her away, I pull her closer.
Just as we come to terms with our new reality, she finds out she's pregnant with his baby.
And I'm left to make the hardest decision of my life...

Kennedy Fox couldn't tell her story in over 239 pages. She had a creative idea but she went on and on until she ended in a real cliffhanger. I am very disappointed in her ack of integrity. Authors who are insecure in the success of their career abuse their audience by seducing into buying more books to find out what happens. Ms. Fox made a huge muscalculaion by leaving her story undone. She loist my interest. It isn't hard to finish the story in my own mind. I did not need her. DO NOT SELECT THIS BOOK. It is a ridiculous story concept, and the author didn't care enough to finish it.
Really a predictable cliffhanger and I’m not hooked enough to buy the next.
This book made me mad, laugh and cry..it had it's moments when I thought Hunter would have his happy. I was rooting for him but sad how it all came to be. We need to keep reading .
Holy S*** did my heart get ripped out while reading this book!!! I'm not sure how to even describe my feels while reading this book. I will say that they ranged from loving all aspects of the book to complete and utterly devastation. Lennon had everything she ever wanted with Brandon. She is a young women that had her dream job of teaching and also had her dream life with the love of her life. When it is all ripped away from her will she be able to survive the devastation of losing the one she thought was her forever. Hunter is a hot as H*** Alpha that is determined to have the life he wants after college. He is Brandon's best friend and also secretly in love with his girlfriend. What will he do when he loses his best friend and now has to toe the line with Lennon? The ending of this book was.......I can't even!!! All I can say is I can't wait for book two.
Oh my gosh.... this book.....I don't know what to say about it. I loved it and I need the next one immediately!! I really loved Lennon and Hunter...well I either wanted to smack him or hold him in my arms and console him lol. But I completely fell in love with both these characters. During this story, I laughed, got angry, cried and swooned. And the ending gives me all new feelings that don't make me happy lol. I can't wait for the next one!
Baby Mine is an emotional journey. Just when you think you have your feelings under control Hunter and Lennon turn left and derail your heart all over again. Hunter feels an emotional claim on Lennon. They met while he is bartending, but it's his best friend Brandon who actually comes home with her that very same night and begins dating her. This put a huge dent in Hunter's emotional state, a man who already has commitment issues. While Hunter knows he should be happy for his best friend and just move on, something inside him just won't let him. "Something's obviously broken inside me because no matter what I do, those feelings for her don't go away."-Hunter I empathize with Hunter everytime his heart is ripped out. How many times in our own lives do we wish for something only to lose it to someone else, especially a friend. And, yes, part of life is to want our loved ones to find happiness, but often it is at our own expense. Whether it's a job promotion, the last slice of pie, giving up the front seat in a car, or giving up a potential true love. I think no matter what the situation, we can all empathize with the hurt and battle Hunter feels on a daily basis. He touched me on a deep level. Lennon has no idea that Hunter harbors feelings for her. She actually believes that he hates her. Blinded by her love for Brandon, she has no idea that Hunter's juvenile pushback and bickering is his way of keeping her at arms length because he actually likes her. It's only upon the most devastating moment in her life that she turns to Hunter for support, or more like she allows Hunter to give her support, she leans on his strength. Noticing his complete 180 and his changing behaviour she doesn't know how to feel, especially with everything that has been going on in her life. "It's definitely as if he's flipped a switch from mega a**hole to mega sweet. It's weird." Lennon Hunter and Lennon have to find a new normal. Find out how to live together and eventually how to fit into each other's lives when that new normal keeps changing. Life can only be so cruel and throw so many punches, right? The first part of this duet if full of a lot and the ending has a BIG cliffhanger, so if you hate waiting for the next installments, the good news is the second half of the duet is releasing next month. Plus, there is also a novella, Forever Mine, about Hunter's brother, Hayden, which is currently out. Hunter is close to his brother and you get glimpses of Hayden's relationship and what Forever Mine might be about, but certainly not enough to spoil it. So pick it up and catch up while waiting for Baby Yours to release. Other great news about Baby Mine, you get glimpses of future stories about Lennon's sisters, Sophie and Maddie who just so happen to have major crushes on Hunter's friends, Liam and Mason. I love a great series. I hope you do too.
