Overview
One must give credit where it is due, for anyone who has just as many greatest-hits compilations as regular releases must be doing something correctly to keep his name vibrant in the country music market. This greatest-hits collection from 2004 (one of three issued that year alone) includes a large percentage of the hits found on other Greenwood greatest-hits compilations, such as 2002's 20th Century Masters collection. And of course, it also contains his signature tune, the tear-jerking patriotic anthem "God Bless the U.S.A.," re-recorded circa 2003. Like all of his other greatest-hits collections, it will please those looking for a smattering of his best-known chart-toppers, but it is by no means a thorough retrospective of Greenwood's career.
