About the Author

Kurban Said is a pseudonym for the author of Ali and Nino, whose true identity is unknown. Azerbaijani author Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli is recognized as the probable author of the book due to the many coincidences and similarities between his life and the plot of the novel. Isabel Payno is a translator whose work focuses on translating works from German and English into Spanish.
