First in a funny, sexy new paranormal romance series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Alyssa Day.

He's a warrior, hardened by years of protecting his town from vampire attack.
She's a garden witch who sees the world in shades of sunshine and delight.
Opposites don't only attract, they go supernova in this sizzling tale of magic and mayhem.

"Alejandro, meet Bob," Rose said, and he quickly looked around the room, only to confirm that nobody was there.
"Bob? Who is Bob?"
"Bob is my cat," she said, that quicksilver grin again crossing her face and then vanishing. "The basilisks got him just after I rescued Ninja."
"The basilisk attacked your cat after you rescued a ninja?" he repeated slowly, realizing he'd been right. There was no way a woman this beautiful could have a personality to match her looks.
She was nuts.

Great characters and interesting plot lines that hinted much more. Couldn’t put it down. And I want to read more about these characters.

If you loved the Atlantis books, you will love this short story that takes place in the time just after that series ended

I loved the Cardinal Witches! The family was vibrant and fun, and I certainly hope we see stories about Rose's sisters. We also get to see hints of how the world has changed after the end of the Warriors series, AND there are cameos by a few of our favorite Atlanteans. I suspect this is going to be a linking story between the original series and the next generation of Atlanteans. A fun must-read!

I received a free copy of the book for an honest review. That being said, I LOVE this story. You always wonder what happened to current characters in other previous stories and Alyssa Day gives you the answers. It's sassy, smart and sexy. Alyssa's style of writing is magically as it simply flows off the pages and brings you into her world.

~ 4 Sorceress Stars ~ Alejandro’s Sorceress clearly takes place in the world of the Warriors of Poseidon series, since it has some of the same Atlantans within the book. I have only read book one Atlantis Rising, but have the rest on my list to read. Alejandro’s Sorceress is not a hard book to get into even if you have not read the series yet. It clearly stands on its own. I was laughing, smiling, and having a blast reading this story! The romance is fast paced, but cute. I prefer to spend more time with a couple, but the humor that Ms. Day added to this story drew me away from it being an insta-love. Rose, the garden witch was a great character. I enjoyed her strength, the crazy family she has, and that she takes no crap from an alpha male. Alejandro, a P-Cop was a fun character. He is alpha, cares about his friends, and wants to protect. I enjoyed seeing him get all alpha when his Atlantan friends show up. The epilogue was great. It had me smiling for the couple. I also liked the little peek we get into the Atlantis world.  Alejandro’s Sorceress is part of the Dark and Deadly box set. This was a fun, humors, and sweet romance. We have magic and fate. With a weird witch family and some hot Atlantans making an appearances. I had a smile on my face throughout this story!

I read this in the Dark and Deadly collection. It is not dark or deadly, except for the naughty basiliks. This is a cute and funny story that made me laugh and made me smile a lot. :):)
