This is one of a great series for Kids grades 2-4. They are of a high interest level and contain a lot of factual informaton too. My grandson has read several at his school library and has read six more since he got his Nook. He participates in Accelerated Reader and can read these books for points. Plus, they are fairly inexpensive.

I thought this book was great because I leaned a lot about the amazon. The amazon river is over 4,000 miles long.

I highly recommend this series of books for adventurous readers. They are short, yet very educational. I've learned a lot from them. Now, I'm in middle school, but I remember reading those books all the time. I loved everything in these books of the magic tree house. Now, my younger sister reads them. She enjoys reading them as much as I did.

I just totally loved this book!  It always has some kind of mystery to find out about! This book is outrageously cool and has interesting facts.  You all should read it if you want Jack & Annie to go on an adventure while they find a monkey to guide them through the forest.   I'm seriously looking forward to reading all the adventurous books!  By: GlamClaw

This is one of Jack and Annies best storys yet!jack and annie are walking through Frog Creek Woods to go to the magic treehouse. At the treehouse they found Peanut crawling around in a sock. After that they went to the Amazon Rainforest. When that was done they climbed down the ropeladder. When they reached the bottom they heared asound it went 'CRUNCH! Then they realized it was a bunch of flesh eating ants. After that they went to the river and they saw a canoe and rowed in it. They realized there was no paddles and they drifted away. Then they saw a monkey. It threw fruit at them. The moneky led them to the forest and gave them the fruit. They realized it was a mango and then they went home to Forg Creek Woods.

My favorite character is Peanut because he saves Jack and Annie . I liked the time my character saved Jack and Annie from the alligator. He took a rope and swung around the alligator's neck and pulled. Jack and Annie could get through the lake on their boat. Also a monkey tried to be friends with Peanut and Peanut was too scared , but later the monkey saved Pean.

Annie and Jack were sent back to the Amazon Rain Forest to see the creepiest and scariest animals that you have ever seen. And they end up meeting a monkey who might give them the gift they need, a gift to free Morgan.

This book told you a lot about the Amazon and the very interesting animals there. You also learn about really creepy stuff like snakes can gobble up a whole deer.

Jack and Annie are looking for their second thing to help Morgan get free from the spell. But when the magic treehouse gets them on top of a tree in the amazon rainforest canopy, Jack and Annie think it's just a bush. But they soon find out the are in the canopy layer and it's 150 feet down to the bottom. Good thing they used a ladder to climb down. After that they don't know that they are being surrounded by animals on the rainforest floor. But after they find out that there are 30 million army ants on the forest floor. Luckily they find a canoe but they do t know how to get back to shore when a big storm is coming.first the try to grab a vine but when they got one it was actually a snake. Then Annie tries to grab a log but a log is actually a crocodile. They were going down the river and a monkey was throwing mangoes at them. When a storm comes. Jack and Annie can't find anything but luckily the monkey hands them a stick that the use to go across the river and get back on shore. Will they be able to find their way back to the treehouse or are they stuck forever in the rainforest? I recommend this book to people who really want to learn about the amazon rainforest.

Jack and Annie need to get the second item to help Morgan Le Fay, but the Amazon turns out to be loaded with dangerous animals. They make it back to the magic tree house, but a monkey won¿t leave them alone. They realize the mango he gives them is what they came for and return home.

This is a book examples fantasy chapter book because the children in the story find a magic tree house full of books that when they say they want to go to the place in the book the tree house takes them their and they have an adventure which keeps you interested but they are learning about the place they are taken to as well and sharing that information in the book as well. Characterization: Annie is a dynamic character because throughout the book she express her fear and hate for bugs especially big one that might live in the Amazon but by the end she say that they are just doing what they are created to do but she still doesn¿t love them.

I loved this book because it shows that children can use their imagination and jump into the text. In the story Jack and Annie go in their tree house and jump into books and get to explore them. In the book they are looking for one special thing to bring back and try and break the spell for Morgan. On this adventure they jump into the book and find themselves in the Amazon. They have to be careful when looking for the special thing because of all the creatures that are in a rain forest. This is a great book for children to read because it is an easy read and you can really picture the things that they are going through.
