Sandra A. Slaughter has a PhD from the University of
Minnesota and is the Alton M. Costley Chair and Professor of
Information Technology Management in the Ernest Scheller
Jr. College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Before joining the college's faculty in 2007, she was a member of the information technology faculty in the David
A. Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
Prior to her academic career, Slaughter worked in the software industry with Hewlett-Packard, the Allen-Bradley division of Rockwell International, and Square D Corporation.
She has published more than 100 articles in research journals, conference proceedings, and edited books; her work has won awards; and her research has been supported by more than $2 million in grants.
