How wonderful it is to see a book celebrating foods from the African AMerican culture! I use this book in my classroom during out mulitcultural theme. I can't tell you how excited my students get to see familiar foods in our book of the week. We also taste some of the foods, and it is loads of fun! Amy Wilson Sanger's books are an incredibly fun and interesting way to introduce children to new foods and cultures. Bravo!!
