A JOUST OF KNIGHTS is Book #16 in the Bestselling series THE SORCERER'S RING, which begins with A QUEST OF HEROES (book #1)—a free download with over 500 five star reviews on Amazon!

In A JOUST OF KNIGHTS, Thorgrin and his brothers follow Guwayne’s trail at sea, pursuing him to the Isle of Light. But as they reach the ravaged isle and the dying Ragon, all may be just too late.

Darius finds himself brought to the Empire capital, and to the greatest arena of them all. He is trained by a mysterious man who is determined to forge him into a warrior, and to help him survive the impossible. But the capital arena is unlike anything Darius has seen, and its formidable foes may be too intense for even he to conquer.

Gwendolyn is pulled into the heart of the family dynamics of the royal court of the Ridge, as the King and Queen beg her for a favor. On a quest to unearth secrets that can change the very future of the Ridge and save Thorgrin and Guwayne, Gwen is shocked by what she discovers as she digs too deep.

Erec and Alistair’s bonds deepen as they sail further upriver, into the heart of the Empire, determined to find Volusia and save Gwendolyn—while Godfrey and his crew wreak havoc within Volusia, determined to avenge their friends. And Volusia herself learns what it means to rule the Empire, as she finds her precarious capital embattled from all sides.

With its sophisticated world-building and characterization, A JOUST OF KNIGHTS is an epic tale of friends and lovers, of rivals and suitors, of knights and dragons, of intrigues and political machinations, of coming of age, of broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is a tale of honor and courage, of fate and destiny, of sorcery. It is a fantasy that brings us into a world we will never forget, and which will appeal to all ages and genders.

I have tried to hang in there through the whole series of these books, but like one other reviewer said, Ms. Rice should have ended this a long time ago. This will be the last I will read and I won't be keeping the books I have so far. I feel she has the ability to tell a wonderful story, but enough is enough. I can no longer forgive the poor writing style, the lack of proof reading of the books, the general errors throughout the books. (One time she used the wrong name for a character in a paragraph that had already named the correct person) Sorry, I am done with this series!!

I just love this series, I have fallen in love with the characters and love to have a new installment every few weeks!

I will continue reading this series to the end, if there is one, if nothing else for the same morbid fascination we tend to have toward plane crashes. I really want to see if there is any point to this writer's seemingly endless obsession for rescuing her main characters from certain death.

I continue to read this series because I fell in love with the characters, there is incredible potential for this series, but at this point I feel like the story lines are too far drawn out with no real conclusion to any of them. I hate to give up, but I think I might after this story.

i have read all the way to book #14. They have been good reads but everything has to come to an end. I will not buy another book untill the last one is written. Just so I know that it ends.

How many more of these short stories will this continue? Please end the agony of all these plots.

I really hate having to trash a book or series. I have read all 17 books in this series. I only finished because I don’t start a book or series without finishing. I have never read a book with so many story holes in it, conflicting information, good/evil turnarounds, and the incredible amount of “plagiarized” themes. Every science fiction, drama, mystery, fantasy theme from the myriad of books I have previously read were thinly veiled in this series. I literally got sick of reading it and could not wait to finish so I could PERMANENTLY delete it from my Nook. I would NEVER consider re-reading this trash. Lastly, there are hundreds of misspelled and misused words throughout the series, terrible.

From the time I got the first book read I was hooked with this storyline. Never thought this could spin out so far being so ruthless yet makes you want to believe it man's humanity towards good will win out. When you think this might happen the bottom drops out again. Yet this to is not theend buta new beginning been a great read. Amazed at what this author has brought forth. Lookibg forward to next in set.

When I get a new book, I can't put it down. When I'm done with this series, I hope the new series will be out.

The first ten books were great, then they started slipping, now they are just redundant. Nothing has happened in the last four books.
