Overview

In all his four hundred years, Rayven never met a woman like Rhianna McLeod. She is a vision of light, of warmth, of everything he is not—nor can ever be. Doomed to live forever in darkness and solitude, he knows all too well the risk in getting close to her, yet he hungers for her with a fierce passion he swears he will never allow himself to feel.

Rhianna's father sold her to Rayven to put food on the table, so she had no choice but to go with the dark stranger. To her surprise, he gives her everything she wants—the finest clothes, education, and the run of the castle—everything, that is, except his touch. For although she senses danger beneath the soft-spoken manner, although even Rayven himself warns her to stay away, she is drawn to this creature of the night, and loves him as she will no other.

Romances with a paranormal story line have always been my favorites. This is no exception. There is so much mystery and suspense within this novel it'll leave you with your toes curled and wondering what will happen next. This is a very well written drama about a lone vampire who finds love with a woman who wishes to let him see the light of life. I'm keeping this one!!

When Rayven buys Rhiannia its only to savor some of her life's blood to appease his hunger, or so he thinks. That is until her sweetness and innocence causes his stone heart to break and love for the first time. Rhiannia herself gets caught in Rayven's web of vampire magnetism and when she finds out his dark secert vows to stay with him as long as he allows. But will Rayven's devilish hunger take away the only good in his life? Or will he find a way to keep her with him forever? Read the book to find out!

I love her books. This one is my favorite. I love how Ravayn pushes her away to protect her, but love finds it self to be stronger and he finds her back at his house and close to heart. He is lonely and her innocense is just what it takes to make his heart melt.

I really enjoyed this love story. I did not like that he was forever sending her away. Interesting twist at the end. I recommend this book.

I love this book sooo much I have read so many times. I love how there a poem that goes with some of the chapters. This was one of the first paranormal romances I started to read, and I have read several over the years but I must say this continues to be a favorite of mine I highly recommend it.

OK! this is oh so great! love the characters specially the hero and heroin, Reyven and Rhianna!!!ofcorz theres Bevins and Dallon! this is just like reading different way of twilight saga but also diff. in other way... you should read it and find out why i said that... i cant xplain how but i can feel the characters passion, love to each other the way Ms.Amanda Ashley wrote it.... when you start reading this you wouldn't be able to put it down and the more you get into the story you will find yourself excited and curious in the next page and cry a little and when you realize that there's 10 or 5 pages left you'll feel sad because it will end soon sooo soon. :(

This book was alright. It is about a young girl in the 1800's being sold so her father can support the rest of her family. She is bought by Rayven, who buys her to spare her the shame of being on the auction block naked. He ends up falling in love with her, sending her away to Paris to go to school and grow up. She comes back a young women, and the feelings are still there. They fall in love all over again. The "vampire" side of Rayven is always an issue and separates them several times. The end has a twist I have never heard of before, interesting idea. It is an "alright" book.
