I am LOVING the fact that this has so many WONDERFUL books in it. It also has one of my favorite stories and movis included... and many hours were devoted to the reading of Wives and Daughters. I was unaware that the last chapter or two were not included due to the death of the Author, Elizabeth Gaskell but I am glad for what we have of it none the less. The charachters are amazing, and while you don't see the fullfillment of the story and the happy ending we desire sometimes life is like that is it not? These collections of stories are amazing, well worth more than the dollar you will spend on it, and worth curling up with any day of the week.

These are all available for free elsewhere but the formatting is rarely this good. I found this a good purchase

I downloaded this collection onto my e-reader, thinking how nice it would be to have all these classics at my fingertips--especially with one kid in high school and another in middle school. I haven't been disappointed. I've already read one book and am reading another one, and looking forward to reading many more of these beautiful, timeless classics. Unfortunately, I purchased My Antonia for a book club just before I purchased this collection. That's $12 I could have spent elsewhere. This collection has many wonderful stories and I hope to get through them all eventually. Having majored in English Lit, I've read quite a few of these stories already, but because they are so well written, it's a joy to go back and read them again. And with 25 years between college and now, I really do get more out of them. Maybe because I'm reading these for pleasure now and not for a test! Also, should my children need to read any of these classics, I have them all bundled in one great collection.

If you're into the classics, like me, you shouldn't miss out on this offer. Absolutely well worth the money. In fact, A LOT for less than a buck and the formatting is great.

I wish my Nookcolor had 3G so I could browse for & start reading a book whenever or where ever I may be. This 99 cent book took care of that problem. I now carry 25 classics with me to help pass time no matter where I may be or how long I might be there!

I've enjoyed re-reading these novels. I read them as I was growing up, and have liked remembering characters that were forgotten through the years. It's like finding old friends. I recommend this set to anyone who is starting their reading adventure, or loves stories and entertaining charactors.

Wonderful collection of classics and a great price. Definitely my best nook purchase to date.

Outstanding value. Easy to navigate -- once you get the hang of it....a bit frustrating at first (easy to get lost, "forced" to return to beginning, etc). Remember: these are old...some of the language is archaic and difficult for modern readers to understand/follow. The "look-up" feature is a must!

i love that Barnes and Noble has offered so many titles as one book! granted, i've read many of them before downloading this book (all of the Jane Austen, Jane Eyre) but for $0.99, you can't go wrong and i've been reading books i have never read before but have always meant to! at this price, if you can't find even one you like, that's a real shame.

Now I'm never without a book! I love the old classics, it brings back memories of my childhood. Except if I finish one, I do not have to wait for a ride to the library.

What wonderful value; twenty five classics for a dollar! If you like classics, you must have this, though it is a little hard to navigate because the books are not divided into chapters. You can set bookmarks, though. : )

If you are looking at this you probably have heard of these books before, so I am not reviewing the stories, but the E book is well formatted, and I have not seen any errors yet. I had recently purchased other .99 e books and been really disappointed in how many errors and how hard many of the formats were to read and how sloppy they were, this one is excellent I recommend all three from this series, and will probably be getting the children s favorites as well!

I appreciate that there seem to be little to none typos as are seen in some bargain e-books. Great selection of books. My only complaint is that you can't keep your place in more than one book at a time.

I love a lot of these novels and I am so happy to have them all in one place! I highly recommend reading the Scarlet Pimpernel, Pride and Prejudice, Sense & S, and Anne of Green Gables.

This book was perfect for me and i would think for a lot of people, that is if you like long reads. I am a very fast reader and it was a very long book. So i was able to read it in more than a few hours like almost all other books. I am 12 years old and almost all of the books where appropiate for my age and up. I would not recoomend it to younger kids though because there is big words intending to vocabulary. I think everyone should read it.

I found it difficult to get to a title page, with the different books readily available. Hard to appreciate if it comes up randomly without a way to choose from the menu.
