I really enjoyed the Darksword Trilogy and it ended with a bang. As usual Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman let their wonderfully developed characters run wild with plenty of plot twists and humor to keep the story going. I just found out recently that there is a fourth book that was written years later that I can not wait to read. Definitely one of my favorite books from my teenage years and still one of the best.

I vastly enjoyed the first two books, the authors have a vast imagination for worlds and characters, however like other series I have read they have no clue of how to end a book. They draw to a climatic situation and let if fizzle out without a real explination, other than they ran out of room.

I seem to have bad luck at reading books in a series backwards. The ending of this series was the beginning for me. I've always been drawn to books and authors who have a very vast imagination, and this is a masterpiece that expanded my standards for a book. I also enjoy playing the story over and over in my head. It never gets old.
