Very nice inexpensive copy of the poems. There is a short bio in front, and the Introduction gives more biographical info on the poet and on the circumstances of some of the poems. The poems are arranged in chronological order, and there is a table of contents, which also lists the dates of the poems. This is the copy you will be tossing into a backpack or bringing to the beach

I love Edgar Allen Poe. He's is one of my favorite poets. I love his dark and eerie style. He has a lot of underlying meanings in his poems (i.e. Annabelle Lee). I like trying to decipher his feelings and emotions within the story. I also enjoy the fact that he's from maryland, like me :)

At first reading, some of his poems appear simple, some more complex--but, upon more inspection, E.A. Poe's poetry seems to resonate with harmony as only the truest of poets can ellicit. This collection contains some true great poems with his characteristic dark and rhythmic method of writing.
