This was my first David Morrell book, and I was not dissapointed. The story line really captivates you, draws you in, and keeps your attention. I could hardly put it down! I also liked the fact that the audience doesn't know what's REALLY going on untill the end. The main character was captivating, and amazing at what he does! I was a little dissapointed with the end, I thought it could have had a more creative, less 'out there' ending, but it did fit with the story, and I can see why he chose to end it that way. Overall, I was VERY pleased with this book! I highly reccommend it!

I'VE BEEN READING ALOT OF DAN BROWN LATELY, AND JUST HAPPENED TO SEE MORRELL'S BOOK ON THE CART AT THE LIBRARY. I READ THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE ROSE MANY YEARS AGO, AND AFTER READING THIS ONE, I'M GLAD TO BE REUNITED WITH MR. MORRELL'S WRITING! I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN FOR VERY LONG. IT'S ALWAYS HARD TO END A GOOD BOOK, AND DAVID'S ENDING IS JUST THAT. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO READING MANY MORE OF DAVID'S BOOKS!

This was the first book I had read by Mr. Morrell and it was fantastic. The intrigue had me completely captivated. I couldn't put the book down until I completed it. Warning, once you start it you will not want to stop until it is finished.

I have read David Morrell's stories for many years now. It seems whenever I run out of authors to keep my interest in their books I lean on Morrell to pick me up again. He never lets me down. That is talent and since I don't have any it makes me appreciate his writing more. Thank you sir!!
