This was not a well written book. It wasn’t cohesive at all. The storyline jumped around a lot. It was hard to follow at times, and the ending was stupid. Mitch totally changed from a jerk to a great guy in the last few pages and tada, happy ending, end of book. Don’t waste your time.

There's a reason I buy everything Lexi Blake publishes. Adored is a perfect example. Almost 200 pages. Laughter. Danger. A few tears. The perfect HEA. Plus, we got to see more of the Masters and Mercenaries gang. (If you haven't read them, don't worry. It doesn't affect this book's reading pleasure. Just a bonus for those who have.) Laurel is one of my absolute favs. So wise to be so young. Loved reading Mitch and Laurel's story. It was everything I could have hoped.

I love Lexi Blake and this series in particular however I must say how disappointed I am in this novella. Short and not worth the price. Couldn't understand or relate to these characters. I was hoping for way more!

Mitch and Laurel are a fun couple. Laurel is a caring and determined woman who loves a difficult man. Mitch is a difficult man who doesn't believe in love. Seeing Mitch learn to love and embrace his family because of the determination of one woman is a worthy read.

I have read the whole series, love it. But this one is so mechanical & void of any passion that it was hard to read. I'm actually stunned. It was terrible.
