Michael Waldman

President Clinton's chief speechwriter has books on rights and rhetoric.

Michael Waldman is president of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law. He was director of speechwriting for President Bill Clinton from 1995 to 1999 and was responsible for writing and editing nearly 2,000 speeches and two inaugural addresses. He is the author of the books The Second Amendment, My Fellow Americans, and POTUS Speaks, among others.
